alumni banquet.

date: friday, june 12th
location: ritz carlton, san francisco

our first event of graduation weekend was the alumni banquet, an event we had anticipated for three years...until the night of. we could not believe how fast it crept on us and then how quickly it was over. it was however, an unforgettable night.

my sweet sweet mother took this pic of us outside our lovely apartment...he he. thank you mommy for watching the kids and also for being the best mom ever.

emerson and i outside the ritz.

i love this pic of brady, jocelyn and baby girl. i can't wait to meet her.

us lucky ones who found each other before entering...such better lighting.

little do you know that i am completely squatting in this pic with my little gymnast, megan. probably the only time i have had to squat with someone in a picture. usually the other(s) are squatting down to my height.

regan, baby boy, michelle and i.

some of the wives.

some of the graduates.

rebecca, reg and i.

these nerds were mimicking our non-stop picture taking. so, dave asked for a picture of the three of them and at the last minute snuck a smooch on emer's cheek...so glad i got it.

the food was decent, dessert better and you would think for $150 a ticket there was something other to drink than water or wine...nope. i had to coax our waiter into sneaking me some grapefruit juice.

the woods, birds and smiths sat at our table with us and i was very happy about that. probably because michelle and i were practically spouse-less the whole night while our husbands were taking care of program nonsense. thank you michelle for being my date.

emerson and dean ferrillo.

emerson giving his little speech.

emerson got some leadership and clinical awards...hence the certificate of sorts.

sweet little emeritus dean, arthur a. dugoni was there. emerson's class was the last class chosen by dugoni before he retired. what an honor.

after the extremely long and pretty boring awards ceremony we danced it up with our fellow graduates and forever dental friends.

you looked so ridiculously pretty that night! i love the dress. it was so fun to sit with you at dinner. it couldn't have been a better evening. thank you so much for showing the awkward "brady touching jocelyn's stomach while jocelyn stands hunched over like the hunchback of notre dame" picture. i miss you! call me one day.
