i'm sure if my parents and brother's didn't come into town last week we would not have ventured to union square this christmas. the extra help is priceless. however, we wanted to take the girls to macy's so they could send their letters to santa and do a little window shopping. if i were without small children i could window shop union square at christmas all day long. the kids were especially amused by the bar hopping transvestite santas...there were at least 100 of them, wow. merry christmas from san francisco.

we were in SF for a play last week and hit Union Square as well. SF definitely has it's own little 'culture'...both the negative and positive.
