nothing tops off a great thankgsgiving like the good old stomach flu. as we headed home from my parent's last night to make the two hour trek back to the city we had been on the road for maybe 7 minutes when emilia lost her cookies. heaven only knows how so much can come out of such small little thing. i was not about to make the rest of the trip home, hoping she would be the only sickling. we turned around and drove right back to my parents. what a nice surprise we were for my parents. we had been there maybe an hour or so when my two brother's joined in and another hour later...rockwell. what a night. on and on it went all through the night. from one to the other and several times they were in it together. i have to admit, me and emerson were quite the team. morning came though and my pregnant belly sleeping on the floor next to my babies was not in the least bit comfy. thank you thank you to my sweet mother who was disinfecting and washing clothes all day for us. so, if you can't get a hold of me and are wondering why i am a recluse in my own home...now you know. not to mention, julia just walked out from the hallway complaining of a tummy ache while grabbing a bowl from the kitchen. i have a feeling i am in for a long night.p.s. who knows how long you should keep your children home from school or activities after they have had the flu?

i saw your mom at Walmart tonight and she was telling me about everyone being sick. I'm not feeling too good myself right now...so i'm hoping i don't get it!
We had a stint with the flu on thanksgiving too. Carter. Hannah had it two days before. Ug. Somehow that happens every year.
Oh, the flu is so yucky! I hope you're all feeling better soon!
That is not fun. How sad for your little kiddies. Thank goodness for our awesome moms!!
I usually wait for 24 hours after the last time they got sick. Sometimes a little sooner if they're acting fine and it's close to that.
Hope everyone's feeling better soon....and that nobody else gets it!!!
Yep....i have it. I've was up all night, this is not fun.
Your family sounds like ours. I think just about everybody got it over the weekend, even Kerri.
